As fall approaches and the temperature gets (hopefully) cooler we have many things to look forward to and be thankful for. In this spirit I have curated a collection of items that calls forth these feelings. From home decor to hats for cooling temperatures I have crafted each item carefully for a quality experience.
When I think of fall I think of apple orchards, apple cider, hay rides, pumpkin picking, jack o’lanterns, and pumpkin pie. So I’ve created some decorative items as well as wearables for you to enjoy.
Pumpkin Coasters– When everything is about Pumpkin spice, these coasters will pair nicely with your pumpkin ale or warm apple cider. Diverse enough the 100% cotton coasters will take you from Oktoberfest through Thanksgiving. The crocheted pumpkins are of my own design and measure 4 inches in diameter. Coasters are washable, lay flat to dry.
Beanies– For hay rides and apple picking these beanies will keep you or your little ones heads toasty warm. The pumpkin and apple beanies have been a seasonal favorite for several years and I am now offering adult sizes for the the kid in all of us. Crocheted from acrylic yarn hats are machines washable, air dry to extend the life and shape of your beanie.
Children’s sizes start with infants at 13 inches in diameter, a small/medium size will measure 14-16”, and a medium/large will fit 16-18”. Each size has a generous ease meant to fit for more than one season.
Pumpkin Garland– Decorate for the changing season with this pumpkin garland. These crocheted pumpkins on a black cord will look lovely in a class room or doorway to welcome Autumn. Each of the 5 pumpkins measures 3 inches and garland 5 feet in length with extra room for hanging.
Individual pumpkins and apples are available as appliqués for attaching to your own items, or purchasing with a headband or a handmade beanie.
Coasters and Dish Cloths– A collection of beautiful Autumnal colors are available in 100% cotton dish cloths and granny square coasters. Purchase each individually or as a set of brown, gold, red, orange, and maroon. Dish cloths measure 8”x7” and granny squares are 4”.
Fingerless Mitts– Perfect for hot cocoa sipping or apple picking these fingerless mitts will keep you warm without hindering your finger dexterity. Knitted from 100% Peruvian wool they are a one size fits most design. Measurements are 4 inches across the back and 7 inches in length with generous stretch. Hand wash only they will last for many seasons to come.
Hand Spun Yarn– Last but certainly the pride of my collection is hand spun yarn in Harvest color way. Starting with white Polwarth and silk blend wool, I dyed hand dyed this in a small batch. I then spun the wool into a worsted weight yarn on my spinning wheel.
