As the days get cooler and shorter, it’s time to wedge in outdoor activities, concerts, and festivals before a cold Central Ohio winter.  I’m looking forward to this weekend Independent’s Day events starting Friday Night the 19th with a preview event at Strongwater, and continuing throughout the weekend Saturday the 2oth from 11am-11pm and Sunday the 21st 11am-6pm.

The Pink Woobie will be vending among a collection of other art and craft vendors both Saturday and Sunday in the festival’s Craft Alley.  I have some exciting new one of a kind hats and scarves for fall, crochet cotton growler bags in favorite team colors, as well as fall themed beanies for children.

Come shop The Pink Woobie and other creative vendors, as well as many mobile shops who will be parking their shops for the weekend.  In addition to the shopping there is an almost endless list of other activities to enjoy throughout the weekend.  Any good event needs music and Independent’s Day will have 5 music stages as well as buskers throughout.  There is comedy and dancing, shipping containers and terrariums, fashion shows and a variety of sport activities to participate in.  You can check out the schedule for the weekend here.

The eventake place at the intersection of Town St. and Lucas St. in East Franklinton, Columbus, OH 43215.

Disclaimer: this post in drastically low on photographs because I am woefully behind photography my fall items.
