IMG_1491Food trucks and foodies are schedule to set upon the Columbus Commons on August 15th and 16th for the Columbus Food Truck Festival.  For two days you can enjoy the best of the food trucks that central Ohio has to offer.  You can also enjoy music, craft vendors, and other special events while chowing down from noon- 10pm both days.

The Pink Woobie is totally stoked about this event because not only will we be vending our awesome Woobie wares, but we’ve had a chance to try many of these food trucks and know they are awesome. Schmidt’s Sausage Truck is one of my favorites and they don’t even look at me funny when I ask for no bun with my tasty sausage.  We are also looking forward to two days of trying new things!

You can check out the full list of food trucks at the website here.  There is also a more specific gluten free/vegan/vegetarian list available here.  One thing I love about food trucks is although their selections are often limited to one specialty they know what goes into their food and can answer your allergy and sensitivity questions with certainty.  For me personally, it makes enjoying food so much better when I know I’m not getting an accidental serving of gluten or soy.alpaca yarn

As always I will be selling my crochet cotton growler carriers, with special OSU and Browns team colors available.  Bottle cozies, wine charms, yarn, and one of a kind small items will be up for grabs. I will be bringing out the cold weather gear to get a start on fall shopping.

To learn more about the Columbus Food Truck Festival you can check out their website or their Facebook page.  You can even RSVP on the event page and see who of your friends might be attending.  Notice their No Pups policy, leave your dogs at home for a happy and safe food truck event!
